“It’s not fun unless you get a little dirty.”

I’ve been creating since I was a child. Some of my most content moments growing up were when I was in the middle of the floor of my room orĀ garage working on an art project while listening to my favorite audio series or watching my favorite television show.

I took drawing classes for six years though elementary and middle school as well as a sculpture class in high school. My art education continued at the collegiate level where I earned my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art. I graduated in December of 2012 from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor after completing a senior art exhibit in April of 2012.

I enjoy making all different types of art, but my true love is oil paint. The physical aspect and properties, texture and sheen are what make me so crazy about oils.

There is a wide range of subjects and techniques represented in my work. I enjoy the freedom to paint what I want to paint, whether it be portraits, abstract compositions or landscapes. It is my desire to reflect God’s glory in His creation as well uplift my audience as they find personal meaning in my work by portraying beautiful images.

I am excited to see how my work will develop over coming years. Stay tuned to follow me on this journey!
